We were glad to join Novartis at the eyeforpharma Payers’ Forum to present a case study: How to communicate health economic data to regional/local decision makers more effectively.

CEO Gijs Hubben joined Head of Health Economics Madlaina Costa-Scharplatz at the podium to speak about the collaboration between our two companies.

Madlaina explained how her team has used BaseCase to communicate health economic data to decision makers at the regional and local level.

The aim of the presentation was to communicate key learnings from a recent project in the Nordic region, which sought to improve the way iPad apps for customer engagement are developed. In particular, the audience heard how to:

  • overcome the challenges of the payer landscape in Sweden.
  • discover innovative ways to present clear, transparent and tailored value propositions that meet both local and regional payer needs.
  • present localized value propositions sooner by understanding how to optimize in-house development of iPad apps.

The event was well-attended by senior representatives from market access and health economics departments in the life sciences industry, and we hope to have the chance to address the conference again next year.

Our thanks to Madlaina Costa-Scharplatz for her presentation.
