The BaseCase team welcomes Paul Mernagh as Director of Health Economics and Value Communication.
Since commencing work as a health economist in 2002, Paul has provided strategic advice to the pharmaceutical industry by drawing on his expertise in economic modelling. Paul’s experience has been applied to a number of environments including the Asia Pacific region, Europe and North America. In addition to pharmacoeconomic modelling, Paul has also been responsible for the development of a number of models in the area of screening and diagnostic testing. Additionally, he has acted as an evaluator for the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC), Australia. Paul holds a first class honours degree in Economics and Masters of Commerce specialising in Economics and International Business. He also completed courses in Advanced Modelling Methods for Economic Evaluation conducted by the University of York and has also been trained in the advanced application of TreeAge Pro decision analytic software.
So with great excitement, all of us here at BaseCase would like to extend a huge welcome to Paul, the latest addition to our ever-growing Australian delegation here at BaseCase.
