This year’s 14th annual ISPOR European Congress in Madrid, Spain marked an especially important milestone for BaseCase. Not only did the team début their first interactive electronic poster, study content provided courtesy of Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals and Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, but also launched the new edition - BaseCase Education (BaseCase 7).
BaseCase Education is specifically adapted to suit the needs of academics and students. The idea is the same, cloud-based, interactive presentation software intended to display complex scientific evidence, but modified to meet the demands of the academic world. BaseCase Education provides a useful way to supplement scholarly articles and talks in a way that enhances comprehension and does not deter from it. The interactive features can quickly clarify the results of different inputs so that academics can respond to audience questions on the spot. As with BaseCase Interactive, the Education model also includes a simple drag & drop editor, is compatible with Excel, and functions across all platforms. If interested why not email us to register for a free educational trial.
Another highlight of the event included the BaseCase workshops. ‘Basics of BaseCase’ was conducted as a power session to help teach the essentials of creating a HEOR communication tool from economic models on BaseCase. The second workshop, Value Communication Tools & Design, discussed visual design and various HEOR case-based communication strategies. For those who attended our workshops, we hope you found them as valuable as Robin did:
“I found the workshop to be very stimulating, with novel ideas to communicate complex data to a broad variety of audiences. I was impressed and left the meeting contemplating multiple ways in which we can use BaseCase.”
For those unable to attend either workshop, book a demo for BaseCase Interactive by November 30th and receive 30 user licenses for the price of 20.
From everyone here at BaseCase thanks for contributing to such a successful ISPOR Madrid.
