Training & Certification
To introduce key staff to the platform, it’s often a good idea to arrange an on-site training session. A training manager at BaseCase will schedule a training day for those that will be using the platform, to get them started and to kick off the project.
Three-step training program
We offer webinar training sessions that app developers can take at their own convenience. Because the BaseCase editor eliminates the need for programming expertise, it’s possible for anyone to build their own value communication apps, with only this minimal amount of training.
Our webinars familiarize app developers with the different elements of the platform. They also reveal the importance of good graphic design and user interface practices; with the use of these simple techniques, app developers are able to produce apps that meet the BaseCase QA checklist criteria.
The BaseCase training course consists of three hour-long modules taken by webinar.
In the first session, we introduce some of the basic controls available in the Editor. We talk about the layout of an app and how to use templates and styles. This session also covers how to upload your model and convert it to the native BaseCase format, leading to the creation of a dynamic calculator.
We look at some of the more advanced features that are available, and talk more about the use of branding and styles. The second training session is tailored to your requirements, focusing on those aspects that are particularly relevant to your needs.
In the third session, we discuss some of the best practices of BaseCase app development, drawn from our experience using the platform to build value communication apps. We look at the importance of model preparation and how to design reports effectively. We discuss the storyboarding and review process, and how to select the right voice and message for your project.
